Ms. Golub has toured extensively with many bands and has played with members of the Tough Darts, Dino Dinelli and Gene Cornish of the Young Rascals, and worked with singer/songwriter Ronnie Gent.
She recorded a CD on Atlantic Records as a member of the Bernie Shanahan Band, entitled "Bernie Shanahan".
A song from that CD, called "No Place Like Home" recently aired on television on an Owens Corning commercial.
Ms. Golub brings to her position her expertise and research on a music
curriculum integrating technology and its effects on student achievement,
motivation, and self-esteem.
In August of 2005 Ms. Golub had the pleasure of bringing the Music and the Brain Program that she teaches at PS 11, to Israel. She trained teachers at
Achuzat Sarah, a home for children in Bnei-Brak. After visiting the home in 2004, she wanted the children there to have the chance to enjoy the advantages that the program offers. It was a wonderful experience for all involved.
